Bio
Trevor graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2021 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Decision Analytics. Following graduation, Trevor worked in consulting for more than three years, focusing on process improvement. His project experience has led him to develop an interest in sustainability to understand how it can be applied to improve business operations.
Riding on his knowledge in applying technology to improving business processes, Trevor has led and implemented various projects in the supply chain and construction industry with clients across Asia and Europe. Project highlights include automating a payment approval process to eliminate paper records for a retail client, developing a digitalized tool for the Hong Kong construction industry to record construction waste, and calculating the embodied carbon of construction materials for a new school wing. Aside from projects, Trevor also conducted desktop research to understand the latest market trends, reporting frameworks, and legislations in the sustainability domain to draft reports for clients and assist in developing the company's sustainability advisory. This led him to realize there is a significant discrepancy between businesses' ambitions and their as-is performances. Trevor aims to utilize the knowledge and experience from this master's degree to incorporate sustainability and technology elements into improving clients' operations.
Outside of work, Trevor devotes a portion of his time to voluntary work. As an orchestral player, he assumed the position as Concert Manager for his high school's alumni association from 2022 to 2024 to organize annual concerts. Despite challenges caused by COVID-19, Trevor coordinated the organization committee to hold the concerts successfully, selling close to a thousand tickets per concert.
