Michele completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology with a minor in International Development at McGill University by 2016. Along the way, Michele has gained valuable skills in agile project management, qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, design thinking, written and oral communications, workshop facilitation and other forms of client engagement. As a result, Michele has honed the creativity and resiliency to succeed in fast-paced work environments.
Michele is incredibly passionate about helping the private industry shift towards a circular economy, whether that is through efficient and ethical supply chain operations, ESG analysis, lifecycle assessments, or extended producer responsibility initiatives. She is particularly interested in working within the food and fashion industries to analyze, co-create, and validate the best strategies for building a sustainable economy through nature-based solutions such as regenerative agriculture and biomimicry.
Through the COVID-19 pandemic, Michele has learned to stay flexible and curious in any opportunity she creates or comes across. She has strong communication and interpersonal skills due to her consulting background which focused on collaboration within teams, across departments, and industries. These skills have been advantageous in her sustainability ventures as climate change undoubtedly impacts every business regardless of size, experience, or industry.
Outside of work, Michele spends much of her time practicing yoga and playing with her dog Romeo. She loves to collects bags of coffee beans and visits indoor rock-climbing gyms wherever she travels.
