Josh Osborne is a Master of Science in Sustainability Management (MScSM) student at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in 2026. With an undergraduate background in Management & Organizational Studies from Western University, Josh's work and academic interests are centered on corporate sustainability, ESG reporting frameworks, and decarbonization strategies.

Josh has developed a strong foundation in ESG and sustainability frameworks through his academic projects, including comprehensive industry analyses and sustainability benchmarking. He has a particular interest in real estate decarbonization and energy efficiency.

His professional experience includes roles such as Business Analyst at Gibson’s Cleaners, where he currently leads the development of a subscription-based model for wash, dry, and fold services. In this role, Josh conducts in-depth market analysis, evaluating competitor pricing, service offerings, and differentiation strategies to identify unique opportunities for value creation and competitive positioning. Additionally, Josh develops financial sensitivity analyses to model potential outcomes, helping the company improve forecasting and strategic planning.

Josh also worked as a Partner at FeelGoodMarketing, where he focused on building partnerships with charities to support Canadian immigrant entrepreneurs. This involved identifying and fostering relationships to enhance the resources available to immigrant businesses, with a goal of driving growth and community impact.

Josh served as Junior Camp Director at Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club, where he grew camp attendance by 100% and generated over $23,000 in revenue. Additionally, his experience in outdoor education has fostered a deep respect for the environment, guiding his career path toward sustainability.

At Western University, Josh demonstrated strong leadership skills, serving as Chapter President of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, managing a $90,000 budget, and organizing initiatives such as a city-wide food drive in London, ON, which produced the largest single donation of the year. He also represented over 1,000 students as Vice President of the Inter-Fraternity Council and worked to improve safety protocols as Vice President of Health and Safety.

Outside of his academic and professional work, Josh enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, and skiing. He has spent a month camping in Nahanni National Park, an experience that deepened his appreciation for nature and reinforced his commitment to sustainability.
