Ryan Aronson graduated summa cum laude from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, with a concurrent double minor in Environmental Science and Sustainability. Ryan's commitment to sustainability is at the core of his professional and personal endeavors. His passion for travel ignited a deep interest in sustainable tourism, driving him to explore how tourism can be balanced with environmental preservation. Additionally, his undergraduate studies in Life Science cultivated a keen interest in the physical sciences, particularly in understanding climate change and its impacts on ecological systems. Ryan is also enthusiastic about integrating sustainable technologies into urban infrastructure, aiming to create and develop sustainable futures for cities.

Ryan possesses a multifaceted background in sustainability, environmental science, and health. In his role as a Sustainability Ski-Operations Intern at Conservation Halton, he meticulously compiled comprehensive reports on Glen Eden's sociological and ecological footprint. His work emphasized climate adaptation and mitigation strategies to ensure a sustainable future for the Glen Eden ski hill. Through extensive research into industry best practices, scenario planning, and climate assessments, Ryan developed actionable recommendations that are poised to significantly enhance the sustainability efforts of the ski operations.

Ryan served as a Teaching Assistant for the Environmental Change and Human Health course at McMaster University, where he played a pivotal role in enriching the academic experience of students.
