She is deeply committed to identifying sustainable solutions within the business sector and is driven by the dynamic challenges of the environmental field. Her enthusiasm for this work arises from her enjoyment in addressing new challenges, making each day an opportunity to effect positive change.

During her undergraduate years, Binari developed strong leadership and communication skills through her roles as a Residence Don and Instructional Assistant. Following graduation, she joined the environmental department at Ash Grove Cement, where she gained extensive knowledge of the innovative solutions the cement industry is adopting to reduce GHG emissions and combat climate change. She also learned the importance of community engagement by efficiently planning and executing a company open house within a three-month timeframe. This event showcased Ash Grove's achievements and initiatives in reducing their carbon footprint to community members and stakeholders, earning her a CRH Excellence Award for Community Engagement in 2023.

Binari also led biodiversity projects at Ash Grove, including the establishment of on-site pollinator gardens, and conducted ongoing monitoring to ensure their success. Her pollinator garden project received certification from the Wildlife Habitat Council in 2023.
