Puppy Yoga at UTM

Fall Colours and Salmon Migration at Erindale Park
Co-presented with Hart House and The Riverwood Conservancy
Date & Time: Friday, October 11, 2024 | 10 am - 12 pm
Meeting Point: Meet at the RAWC Lobby. We will depart to Erindale Park as a group no later than 10:10 am.
Explore the beautiful Erindale Park, a short walk from the UTM campus. On this guided walk, we'll soak in the blazing fall colours of Erindale's forest canopy, observing many aspects of the changing season. Fall is also the time of the annual salmon migration. We'll walk along the Credit River in the park, and learn more about the incredible salmon as they take their last leg of the journey from Lake Ontario all the way up the Credit River to spawn the next generation.
This walk will be guided by nature guides from The Riverwood Conservancy.
UTM Walks with Campus Safety: Tips and Resources for Staying Safe on Campus

Trick-or-Trek: The RAWC's Spooktacular Scavenger Hunt
Date & Time: Wednesday, October 23, 2024 | 12 - 3 pm
Location: Various - UTM campus
Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure across campus as you "trick or treat" at nine Halloween monster-themed stations. At each stop, you'll engage in a fun physical or wellness activity, earning both a treat and a sticker for your bingo card!
From terrifying exercise challenges to creepy carnival games and enchanted crafts, there’s a little something for everyone! Gather your friends, collect your goodies, and see if you can complete the bingo card for a chance at even more surprises!
This event is all about getting students moving, connecting, and having fun so come dressed in your favourite Halloween attire, and get ready for a spooktacular time!

Bhangra for Wellness

Experience the joy and energy of Bhangra, a traditional folk dance from Punjab, India known for its vibrant and rhythmic movements! Register today for any of our four 30-minute workshops where we'll break down basic Bhangra moves and combine them into a dynamic routine set to upbeat music. Open to all UTM students. No prior experience needed. Join us for a day of energy and movement, while boosting your wellness in an exciting way! Register for any one of the following four back-to-back introductory classes:
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM (30 min)
- 11:45 AM – 12:15 PM (30 min)
- 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM (30 min)
- 1:15 PM – 1:45 PM (30 min)
Each class will introduce participants to the fundamentals of Bhangra. This will include teaching different basic moves, followed by combining them into a routine on a popular Punjabi song.
Note: There are 4 different workshop options that students can sign up for!
MoveU Refresh & Recharge: Day Trip at Hart House Farm

Escape the books with a daytrip to experience caving, cider making, archery, s'mores and more! This getaway is all about having fun, making friends, and enjoying nature's beauty with peers from across all three UofT campuses.
Bus transportation is included. Buses will depart UTM at 9:15 AM and return to campus by 6 PM.
Note: This registration is for UTM students only, as there are separate registrations for UTSC and UTSG students.

UTM Skates

Get active at UTM’s annual indoor skating event! Free skate rentals provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Drop in, but registration is strongly recommended.
First 100 students to register and attend will receive a swag bag! Free hot chocolate for all participants, while supplies last!
