The Wellness Den is a dedicated space on campus that features daily wellness-inspired opportunities to support student learning and success. The Den is open to all UTM students. Brought to you by the UTM Health & Counselling Centre.
Location: DV 2207 (Student Services Hub – SSH)
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday | 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Adjusted Open Hours for Exams - Serenity Break
From December 9 till 20th, the Wellness Den will be open daily (2:00pm - 4:00pm) to give you a serenity break! We can offer:
- Distressing Tools
- Arts & Crafts
- Complimentary Tea
- Wellness Resources
Exam time can be a stressful time. Use your Den to practice wellness. See you there! 🪴

Wellness Den Drop-in Workshops
Please check back here regularly for upcoming workshops running at the Wellness Den. These workshops are on a “drop-in” basis – meaning that students can drop by anytime between 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and engage in the content of the workshop!

How Can I Help? Supporting Loved Ones.
When: September 30th 2024 | 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Facilitator: Campus Health Promotion Nurses and Peer Mentors
Drop by and learn introductory mental health information based on two key resources: Recognize, Respond, Refer Workshop by HCC; and UofT’s Identify, Assist, Refer Online Education Module. Being there for someone isn’t always easy. Come by and get equipped with basic information about mental health, including an interactive activity to get you thinking, and tips about:
- How to recognize if someone is having a mental health concern
- Effective ways to respond
- Helpful resources along the way
Expressive Art Therapy

Facilitator: CREATE Institute (In-Training Program), in partnership with the UTM Career Centre
Join us for our Career Wellness Series, a dynamic and imaginative journey designed to help you navigate your career and manage any anxiety you may be facing. Through the lens of Expressive Arts Therapy (EXAT), you’ll explore your professional aspirations using visual arts, writing, drama, music, and movement.
Discover creative ways to engage with your thoughts and questions about the future. This series will equip you with artistic tools to communicate your feelings, identify challenges, and uncover valuable insights into your career-related fears and concerns. Best of all, no prior experience in any art form is required—just a willingness to explore!

University experience can be stressful! Yet, learning how to cope and flourish in stressful environment can be a helpful skill, applied beyond our time at university.

Managing your Time Effectively during Exam Season
