Sexual Health Information
Making wise and informed choices, taking care of your reproductive health, and accepting and expressing your sexual identity are all vital to staying sexually healthy throughout your life.
Healthy sexuality includes everything from learning about ways to protect yourself from sexually transmitted infections, birth control options that are the right choice for you and your partner, testing for infections and for genital cancer screening, treatment for a wide variety of sexually related concerns (e.g., infections, yeast infections, rashes, sores, warts, etc.). Like all HCC services, medical staff at the HCC are able to provide sexual health information to all students, regardless of sexuality, gender, race, age, religion or disability.

The HCC sells select birth control pills at a reduced cost. The HCC also has free condoms available (condoms provided by Peel Public Health).

Peel Public Health's Healthy Sexuality Program helps to promote a sexually healthy community in Peel. Their services are local and include sexual health clinics, community outreach and a Sexual Health Information Line (905-799-7700).
Healthy Sexuality clinics provide counselling, current information on birth control, sexually transmitted infections, and programs and services for many aspects of sexual health. Healthy Sexuality clinics can provide HIV testing, treatment for various sexual infections, and low-cost access to birth control.
Anyone can make an appointment, regardless of their sexuality, gender, race, age, religion or disability. No health card (OHIP) is required to receive services at their Healthy Sexuality Clinics.
