Who are we?
The Health & Counselling Centre is operated by a dedicated staff of interdisciplinary healthcare providers and administrative staff.
The Health & Counselling Centre is a student-funded service. Our services are available to all currently enrolled Full-time and Part-time University of Toronto Undergraduate and Graduate students who have paid the appropriate incidental student fees. Eligible students typically have access to the services for the current academic year, i.e. from September 1 to August 31 of the following year. This means that students are still eligible during summer months when they are not enrolled in classes or are graduating.
When accessing our services, eligible students will be asked to bring their student card (TCard) and provide proof of valid health insurance coverage. Examples of health insurance coverage include:
- Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP)
- University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP)
- Other provincial health insurance plans
