I am a cisgender, queer second generation Vietnamese-Canadian man, born and raised in Toronto.

It can be difficult taking time to identify and process the everyday challenges we collectively experience in our fast-paced “go go go” society, especially as students. Taking a pause and being curious about ourselves is often the first step in this journey of self-discovery.

As a registered occupational therapist, psychotherapist I bring a holistic and strengths-based approach to counselling/psychotherapy with the aim of helping folks live meaningful lives. My approach to therapy is empathetic, collaborative and non-judgmental, providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, feel seen and heard. As a trauma-informed queer person of colour, my practice is grounded in anti-oppression, anti-racism and harm reduction frameworks.

I’m an integrative therapist with training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), compassion-focused and mindfulness-based approaches. I’m passionate about supporting students with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship conflicts, school/work stress, and 2SLGBTQ+ issues to name a few.

In my spare time, I'm usually with my dog, doing something active, trying a new restaurant, or relaxing with a book.
