Experience/Areas of Expertise
As a Registered Psychotherapist, I have a history of supporting post-secondary students, survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment that empowers individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and strengths in a collaborative and non-judgmental space. My approach is grounded in feminist, narrative, anti-oppression, and person-centered frameworks.
I honor the unique identities and experiences of the students I work with, believing that everyone has the inherent capacity to navigate life’s challenges. I am passionate about addressing systemic barriers to well-being and strive to make mental health support more accessible. I utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, tailoring my approach to meet individual needs.
Things I Love
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, spending time with my dog, and getting lost in a good book!
