Experience / Area of Expertise
Life as a student can be hard and you may find times where you struggle with your mental health. You don’t have to go through it alone. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to support you and value having strong collaborative relationships filled with warmth, empathy and understanding. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, trauma, family conflict or some other concern, I am here to support you through the challenges you face. I take importance in understanding each person’s unique identity and how this may shape and inform our experiences in life.
I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with 10 years of experience. I take an eclectic approach in counselling to help you work through your concerns. Some of the training I may draw on includes: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Grief Counselling, Trauma Informed Therapy.
Together, we will work on building your coping skills, coming to a better understanding of what you’re facing and learning how to navigate your challenges. I look forward to working towards your goals and being your guide on this journey.
Things I love
