Ask the Nurse is a Health Promotion initiative of the Health & Counselling Centre, which aims to provide students with information, tools and resources to support them in making healthy choices towards their personal and academic goals.
The program runs all year and allows students to speak and connect with Health Promotion Nurses.

Our Events
- Campus 'Pop-up' Booths
The Health Promotion nurses host weekly pop-up booths at various locations on campus where students can drop-in and ask any health-related questions and received information and resources.
- Wellness Den Workshops
Health Promotion nurses host monthly workshops on a variety of topics at the Wellness Den. The Wellness Den is a student space on campus that features weekly, drop-in wellness opportunities to support student learning and success.
- Ask the Nurse @ SHRL
Student Housing and Residence Life (SHRL) in collaboration with the HCC hosts regular pop-up booths (on a weekly basis) and workshops (on a monthly basis). The pop-up booths usually take place on Thursdays at Oscar Peterson Hall and Roy Ivor Hall. The workshops, also called the Residence Workshop Series, usually take place on Thursday evenings at Oscar Peterson Hall, 2nd floor, Seminar Room.
All Workshops are CCR approved.
