We are sharing a message from the City of Mississauga about upcoming construction work on Dundas Street West requiring lane reductions.  This roadwork near campus that may impact your commute to campus. 

As always, we encourage our community to consider sustainable ways to get to campus such as public transit to reduce the volume of single-passenger vehicle use to campus and to review detour routes if recommended by the City during the project.  

Please be advised that Parking Lot P10 will be closed beginning at 7am on Monday, December 16, 2024 and will remain offline until September 2026, to assist with the construction of the New Student Residence.

An audible fire alarm verification is scheduled for Deerfield Hall and Maanjiwe nendamowinan on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.   

The Audible alarm will be heard in Deerfield Hall and Maajiwe nendamowinan from 7AM-8AM.

 These tests are required to verify equipment for the DH4090 Office Reno (P300-23-123) in compliance with the Mississauga Fire Department.

On Tuesday, January 14^th, 2025, a crane lift will be conducted, where a crane will be hoisting construction material to the NSB roof.  

This activity will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will be completed by 5:00 p.m.

Please be advised that the local Hydro Utility Company (Alectra and IESO) will be conducting a voltage reduction test to the Ontario power grid on Tuesday, January 21^st, 2025.

WHERE:

This notice is in regard to an upcoming investigative survey on the UTM Emergency Backup Power system. 

This activity will require Emergency Backup power be turned OFF so qualified technicians can carry out the investigative work required for the “CUP1 Expansion Day1: New Generator Addition project”.

In the event of inclement weather forecast, this activity will be rescheduled to the backup date listed.
