Facilities Management & Planning is an administrative unit responsible for construction; renovation; and maintenance of the physical fabric comprising UTM campus.
Main responsibilities include the following:
- Maintain and manage the campus buildings, manage and maintain campus Infrastructure
- Ensure the building code and safety code compliance
- Conduct space and facility planning
- Manage construction and renovation projects
- Provide a sustainable working environment
- Support recycling
- Provide campus access key and keycard services
- Provide custodial services
- Manage receiving, shipping and stores
