UPDATE: Construction Notice of Municipal work on Dundas Street West, starting June 17, 2024

We are sharing a message from the City of Mississauga about upcoming construction work on Dundas Street West requiring lane reductions.  This roadwork near campus that may impact your commute to campus. 

As always, we encourage our community to consider sustainable ways to get to campus such as public transit to reduce the volume of single-passenger vehicle use to campus and to review detour routes if recommended by the City during the project.

Stage 3 Municipal Roadwork: Burnhamthorpe Road West Bridge Retrofit, starting August 1, 2024

We are sharing a message from the City of Mississauga about the next stage of continuing roadwork near campus that may impact your commute to campus due to lane reductions.

Schedule Update: Notice of Crane Mobilization at Residence Road on November 18 and 21, 2024, 7AM-7PM

On Monday, November 18th and Thursday November 21st, a crane and support vehicles/equipment will be positioned on Residence Road across from Blocks D for both Schreiberwood and Roy Ivor residences.  This work is part of the crane mobilization and set up for the construction of the new Student Residence.

Notice of Fire Alarm System Service Interruption at Deerfield Hall, Tuesday November 19th, 2024

There will be an interruption to the fire alarm systems at Deerfield Hall as part of the “DH4090 Psychology Office Renovation” project.  The horn strobe in corridor DH4090 will be relocated, necessitating a system bypass.

During this work, the fire alarm system will be offline.  Campus Safety or security guards will provide a fire watch for the duration of this interruption.   Contractors will be working in corridor DH4090 to complete the relocation on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Notice of Furniture Installation in W.G Davis Building - Block A, 1st and 4th Floors, on Thursday November 21, 2024

Corridor furniture installations are scheduled for the William G. Davis Building, Block A Corridors, Floors 1 &  4 on Thursday, November 21st, 2024.

There will be periods of noisy work as the new furniture must be floor-mounted requiring drilling into the floor.  Drilling duration is estimated to last no more than 40 minutes per floor.
