We are sharing a message from the City of Mississauga about upcoming construction work on Dundas Street West requiring lane reductions. This roadwork near campus that may impact your commute to campus.
As always, we encourage our community to consider sustainable ways to get to campus such as public transit to reduce the volume of single-passenger vehicle use to campus and to review detour routes if recommended by the City during the project.

City of Mississauga Construction Information
WHAT:
Retaining Wall Project at Two Locations: Erindale Park Entrance to Credit River & Robinson Street To Dundas Crescent
WHEN:
Construction scheduled to begin on or before June 17, 2024 and end on or before July 31, 2025
TIME:
Monday to Friday, 7AM-7PM
Weekend work will take place only if required
HOW THIS WILL IMPACT YOU:
The map of the impacted area is enclosed in the attachment. The area of work is indicated in the two boxes with the hashed lines.
What to expect during Construction
Vehicle, Cyclist and Pedestrian Access:
Roads: Shifting of vehicle lanes will take place to maintain two westbound lanes and two eastbound lanes during construction.
- The middle turning lane will be unavailable during this work
- The left turning lane at The Credit Woodlands and Mississauga Road will be maintained
- Access to Erindale Park from Dundas Street West will remain open throughout construction’s duration
Road users should anticipate delays. Please reduce speed and follow traffic control signage posted on site.
Sidewalks: The north sidewalk will remain closed between Erindale Park Entrance and the Credit River and between Robinson Street and Dundas Crescent.
Please use the south sidewalk.
Transit Service: The following MiWay transit stops will be closed during construction:
- Bus Stop #1101 (located west of The Credit Woodlands)
- Bus Stop #1102 (located east of the Erindale Park entrance)
