UTM Anthropology donates teaching lab supplies to protect front-line health care workers
Posted April 1, 2020
In response to the COVID-19 situation, the University of Toronto is organizing the donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies from university labs in the effort to protect front-line health care workers. As part of this effort, the Department of Anthropology at UTM immediately donated all supplies that would normally have been used for teaching activities in our labs. This donation included boxes of gloves (1000 gloves in total) and reams of paper towel (about 6000 sheets in total). We continue to eagerly support efforts to assist the medical and university communities however we can.
