The course must be an excellent capstone fitting the trajectory of the program. Submissions will be evaluated on how well they address the skills and curricular needs of UTM students.
- The syllabus must include clear learning objectives. Evaluations must be explained in terms of content, format, and percentage of the final grade. The syllabus should include the UTM standard rules and policies for missed and late term work.
- Weekly seminar topics must have a direct connection to the assigned readings and evaluations.
- The successful syllabus should speak to more than one subfield in anthropology. Courses which appeal across sub-disciplines will receive preference.
