The Amgen Biotech Experience at the University of Toronto Mississauga (ABE@UTM) is a collaboration between UofT Mississauga and Amgen Canada with funding from the Amgen Foundation.
ABE provides high school teachers with professional development and technical training, and the loan of research-grade equipment and supplies at no cost.
The ABE science education program complements Ontario grades 11 and 12 biology curriculum. It allows high school students to further develop their science investigation skils and explore careers in biotechnology.
