What do you do?
I am responsible for:

  • Oversight of all departmental administrative activities and office operations (e.g. budgeting, procurement, marketing/communications, meal plans)
  • Oversight of all retail services (vending, print shop, mail room, third-party contracts and leases)

What is your favorite thing about UTM?
My favourite thing about UTM is our connection to the prestige and worldwide recognition of the University of Toronto combined with our campus-wide desire to push UTM to the forefront of innovation.  I also like double espressos from Second Cup.

What is the part of your role at UTM that you like the most?
The part of my role I like the most is having direct connections with students, staff, and faculty at UTM and involving them in conversations about making our departmental services better.

What do you like doing outside of work?
I have 4 kids – that says it all.

What is your favorite food?
Anything smoked.

FUN FACT
In all of the offices I have worked in at UTM, I have never had a window.  Also, a deer almost ate my Blackberry.
