Q1: What do I need when submitting an order?
The order must be submitted through ServiceNow. The forms require your FIS numbers and details about how you would like your order to be produced (e.g. stapled, collated, or 3-hole punched, etc.)
Q2: Can I order UTM Stationery from The Print Shop?
All print requests for UTM Stationery & Business Cards must be submitted through the University of Toronto Automated Online Print Ordering System through St. George.
Q3: Who can use The Print Shop? Do I have to be a student, staff, or faculty at UTM?
Anyone can use The Print Shop! Whether you're a part of the UTM community or not, we're happy to provide our services to anyone who needs them.
Q4: When submitting my print request, what format should my file be in?
Your print file should be submitted as a Print-Ready PDF that includes bleeds and trim-lines, and should be formatted to the desired print size. Your file should also be edited for spelling, grammar, etc. before submitting. Failure to provide adequate files or time frame may result in an additional fee.
Q5: What do I do if I need graphic design assistance with my print request?
We will get you in contact with a graphic designer who can assist with your file. Please note that graphic design assistance will result in an extra service charge, and may extend the time it takes to complete your print request.
Q6: How can I pay?
We accept debit, Visa, MasterCard, and Departmental FIS numbers.
Q7: Does The Print Shop copy textbooks for personal use?
We do not photocopy textbooks. We adhere to the Access Copy Guidelines (and we hope you do as well). If you need a few pages from your book according to the Access Copy Guidelines, you can do so at the Convenience Copiers located across Campus.
