Make a career counselling or an employment strategy appointment to discuss how you can demonstrate these skills to employers.
- Critical Thinking: Utilize sociological theories to assess and address social inequalities and group conflicts, gaining a deeper understanding of human behaviour across macro, micro and meso-level.
- Interpersonal: Ability to collaborate with others in small groups, adapting to different roles & responsibilities as needed to achieve successful outcomes.
- Oral / Written Communication: Effectively explain and summarize sociological concepts & theories in both written and verbal formats, as well as present data using graphs, tables & diagrams.
- Research: Familiar with sociological research design, including developing research questions, collecting quantitative & qualitative data and analyzing results using methods such as logistic regression.
