Am I eligible?
If you are an undergraduate student and have graduated from UTM between June 2022 - June 2024 then you are eligible to apply to this program. Candidates from all disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to apply to this FREE program.
Prerequisites:
- Must have graduated from an undergraduate program between June 2022 - June 2024.
- Must have completed the Now That I’m Graduating What’s Next workshop either virtually or in-person.

How does this program work?
This program is designed to help you transition from the classroom to the workplace through scheduled workshops, independent & group work, 1-1 facilitated opportunities and career coaching. To be eligible for paid work placements, you must travel through the program as a cohort and complete the following components:
- Workshop 1: Introduction to RGOP & Storytelling
- Workshop 2 & 3: Resume & Cover Letter Writing (Part 1 & 2)
- Workshop 4: How to Make LinkedIn Work for You
- Workshop 5: Effective Interviews
- Workshop 6: How to have Conversations with Employers?
- Workshop 7: Networking Simulation
- 1 x Mock Interview Appointment
- 2 x Career Coaching Appointment
You will also have the added benefit of attending optional office hours, other Career Centre workshops, and employer engagement events in order to enhance your overall job search.

Am I guaranteed a work placement?
While the Career Centre and program cannot guarantee a work placement, we do make a tremendous effort to help you obtain job interviews with various organizations across the Greater Toronto Area. Please see our list of RGOP sample employers that showcases recent roles and companies that have partnered with and recruited from the RGOP.
