Professor Daniel (Danny) Wright has joined our office as Interim Associate Vice-Principal, Research and Innovation – Special Initiatives. This position will run from August 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

An Associate Professor in the Department of English & Drama, Danny specializes in the theory and history of the novel, especially nineteenth-century realism and the queer novel; literature and philosophy; feminist, queer, and trans theory; and psychoanalytic theory. He currently serves as a member of UTM campus council and as graduate placement officer for U of T's tri-campus department of English.
