Profile
Khushi Patel is a postdoctoral fellow at the APPLY Lab. She completed her PhD in psychology, specializing in vision science at the Toronto Metropolitan University. Her research focuses on questions surrounding the contributions of vision in the learning to read process and reading difficulties. She is particularly interested in investigating how modifications to digitally-presented text can alter eye movement patterns (e.g., saccades, fixations, regressions), and increase reading speed and comprehension. Khushi’s vision is to create a tool that can optimize and enhance the reading experiences and outcomes for all types of readers.
