As of November 14, 2024, Canada Post workers from the Canadian Union of Postal Workers are currently on strike, which may impact mail and delivery service to and from UTM. If you are expecting a delivery or have sent a package through Canada Post recently, it may be delayed. If you’re planning on sending and/or mail or packages over the coming days, we encourage you to look for alternatives, such as courier services. For more information or updates on the strike and its impact, visit canadapost.ca/negotiations.
Packages can be picked up from the Residence Services Desk after 3:00 PM on the day you receive an email notification

Where can I find my letter mail?
All mail is distributed through mailboxes located in Oscar Peterson Hall, located on the first floor, behind the lobby. Each resident unit shares a mailbox number with other residence students and one mailbox key will be issued per student (at time of check-in). Please provide the correct mailing address to ensure its delivery. Incorrect addresses will be ‘returned to sender’ and not delivered to the recipient. Lost mail keys will be subject to a replacement charge of $25, as will unreturned keys at the time of check-out.
How do I get my packages?
Packages in residence will be received and distributed at the Residence Services Desk in Oscar Peterson Hall. Students can pick up their package after 3PM on the day they receive the parcel notice. Residents are required to provide proof of T-Card in order to pick up packages. Please ensure your Tcard name is on your package for ease of delivery. Any package under a different name will not be accepted.
