Sustainability Ambassador Program
Streams
The program is split into three main streams that students can be a part of during the school year: Waste Education & Engagement, Sustainable Events & Programming, and Outreach & Communications.
Students can choose which stream they would like to focus on for the year but are encouraged to volunteer their time in all three streams to gain a wide range of sustainable knowledge and experiences.
Stream | Responsibilities include: |

Waste Education & Engagement | - Facilitate waste patrolling and tabling sessions beside hallway bins
- Lead classroom talks and presentations
- Collaborate with campus groups and clubs to organize fun waste-related workshops and events
- Attend and participate in bi-weekly and monthly team meetings
- Commit 40-60 hours for the school year

Sustainable Events & Programming | - Lead and facilitate major events and conferences (STTPA, Sustainability Week, etc.)
- Collaborate with on-campus clubs and partners to organize sustainable events
- Engage with students and professors on sustainable topics through in-class workshops and presentations
- Attend and participate in bi-weekly and monthly team meetings
- Commit 40-60 hours for the school year

Outreach & Communications | - Create compelling visuals for social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Capture event content and produce engaging videos
- Maintain active social presence
