The City of Mississauga has partnered with Lime Technology, Inc. and Bird Canada to introduce e-scooters and e-bikes across Mississauga. This initiative aims to test the viability of e-scooters and e-bikes as an eco-friendly transportation option around Mississauga. We encourage you to utilize the e-scooters and e-bikes to go to and from campus. While riding these vehicles within the campus core is restricted, designated parking sites have been set up at the campus perimeter for your convenience – refer to the map below.
E-scooters and e-bikes offer a sustainable alternative to single-occupant car trips, promoting both environmental responsibility and a healthier lifestyle. Renting a scooter or bike is a fun, efficient way to cover short distances, making it easier than ever to access our campus.
Here are some things to know before beginning your ride:
- Download the Bird App and Download the Lime App
- There is a no-riding and no-parking zone within the campus core (see map)
- Park your device properly. If not parked properly, the user may be charged additional fees.
- Helmets are encouraged
- Discounts are available for the UTM community with valid U of T emails. Learn more about how to access these discounts:
