EagleConnect is a New Student Transition Support Program for new and incoming UTM students. The free online program includes quick and informative modules, webinars, virtual community-building events, Q&A sessions, and more, and is supported by a team of upper-year students called Squad Leaders! Gain confidence, build connections, and access the info you need to navigate your first year on campus with EagleConnect.

Your EagleConnect Squad Leader is on hand to provide you with insight, experience, and one-to-one support during your transition to UTM. Access modules and information on your schedule!
How to enroll
As a new student, you will be automatically enrolled into the program! In June, you will get an email letting you that you've been added to the EagleConnect program on the Quercus Platform.
- Head to Quercus (q.utoronto.ca) and log in using your JOINid/UTORid and password.
- Click on your “Dashboard,” where you will find a course named “Summer 2024 Eagle Squad” followed by a number. That is YOUR squad!
- Check out the homepage, modules, and discussion boards to begin interacting with your peers!

EagleConnect starts on June 10th, 2024! At that point, you should be able to access your squad, as well as the Week 1 module. International students will be invited a week in advance, on June 3rd, 2024; for some specialized events to help in your transition to all things Canada!
We understand that students have busy lives, especially in the summer before university. As such, we have designed EagleConnect to make it easy to catch up if you miss any content (or if you wish to access earlier modules)! All you need to do is go into the modules and click on the "New to EagleConnect? Start Here!" section to review your key tasks and get caught up. And if you still have questions, you can send a message or book a meeting with your Squad Leader to help you get your questions answered.
EagleConnect is 100% free! You are automatically enrolled, and have access to all of the amazing resources that we have to offer!
