Bursary for Co-Curricular Program Participation

4 students smiling.

The Centre for Student Engagement at UTM understands the pivotal role co-curricular opportunities play within the life of a student, and wants to decrease the financial burden they face.

Students can submit a proposal form to receive some financial compensation for funds spent on CCR-approved co-curricular experiences. The funds can be a great way to lessen the financial burden student’s experience when they are engaging with CCR-approved programs.

What Funds Can Be Reimbursed?

Some of the funds that a student can have reimbursed include:

  • Transportation costs (as long as UPASS or the UTM shuttle does not service the location)
  • Police checks
  • Conference fees
  • Registration fees

The maximum amount that would be granted for an individual is $100 per year. The maximum amount that would be granted for a CCR activity is $250 per term.

How Can I Apply?
