Samuel Betancur Garces

Samuel is a second-year anthropology student at UTM focusing on archaeology. He is interested in studying the relationship between ceramics, trade and foodways in the mediterranean. In addition to understanding and applying methodologies related to residue analysis and geographic information systems. The RLEA’s work with paleoethnobotany and human-environmental interactions is particularly noteworthy and has inspired him to volunteer at the lab.
