Biography
Emilia M. Bruck is a Mobility Network Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Management and Innovation (IMI), University of Toronto Mississauga. She is an urban planning researcher whose areas of interest include shifts in urban policy, planning practice and spatial development related to emerging mobility technologies. She holds a Doctorate in spatial planning from the Vienna University of Technology. As part of her doctoral research, she conducted an in-depth case study of how planning professionals in the Greater Toronto Area plan for automated and connected vehicles and analyzed patterns of transformative change. Prior to joining IMI, she was a doctoral research assistant at the future.lab Research Center and a faculty member at the Research Unit for Local Planning, Vienna University of Technology.
