UTM Campus Affiliation

The University of Toronto has three campuses: the University of Toronto St. George (UTSG), located in downtown Toronto; the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (UTSC); and the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM).

While the undergraduate programs at each U of T campus are separate, many graduate programs are shared across all three campuses. Faculty members from all campuses fully participate in these graduate programs. Graduate students are automatically affiliated with the campus that houses their program of study. Students whose home graduate units are based at the St. George campus are affiliated with UTSG by default. Similarly, students whose programs are based at Mississauga (e.g., professional stream students at IMI) are affiliated with UTM upon admission.

Students not affiliated with UTM by default, but whose supervisors are located at UTM, may want to change their affiliation if it is in their best interest. Once the change is made, incidental fees will be adjusted to reflect the new campus affiliation.

Benefits of UTM Campus Affiliation

  2. Unlimited fare-free use of Mi-Way, the Mississauga Transit bus network, through U-PASS.*
  3. Inclusion in the UTM graduate student listserv, which provides notifications of events and services of particular interest and importance to graduate students.
