George Thomas 

George Thomas has demonstrated growth in their academic studies and a strong commitment to building our great academic community through their various roles across campus, supporting students in their studies as a Facilitated Study Group leader, volunteering as a Staffing Corporal in the Campus First Aid Response team and in the broader community through their volunteer efforts with the Children’s Aid Society and Kids Help Phone. They’ve also demonstrated excellence in leadership by encouraging and supporting their peers in their academic growth and in supporting UTM students by growing our academic programming as a Facilitated Study Group Program Assistant.

Maya Buttigieg 

Maya Buttigieg has demonstrated exceptional growth in their own academics and exceptional leadership by leading academic development workshops and programming as a Residence Education Facilitator. They’ve demonstrated a deep passion for helping others in this role by connecting students to the appropriate referrals and resources. They have contributed to our great academic community, supporting students as a Facilitated Study Group leader, Peer Support Program mentor and as a Vice President for the Erindale Biology Society.

Manvir Dhothar

The adjudication team was impressed by Manvir's willingness to seek out mentorship and use her own experiences to support mentees. She has participated in a variety of mentorship opportunities and has built from her own challenges and experiences to support other students.

Sushmita Kiri

Sushmita has a wide-array of experiences with the FSG program and with other clubs on campus. She demonstrated a strong sense of what it means to support others. We were impressed by her willingness to solicit feedback and then use that feedback to make her workshops/mentorship opportunities collaborative, engaging, and responsive to the mentees she supported.
