Staff Award for Community & Partnership Development

Overview

The ISUP Staff Award for Community Development recognizes staff who have demonstrated outstanding initiative and leadership toward developing community at the university. This award can recognize community building initiatives with students across UTM and or the wider university. It can also recognize staff who have promoted and enhanced partnerships and collaboration between ISUP and units or Departments from the broader university community.

Priority is given to community development initiatives that have occurred in the past 18 months. Community-building initiatives that have occurred longer than 18 months are eligible but the focus will be on what has occurred with those initiatives most recently.

Eligibility

All staff with a minimum of one year of service at ISUP and who are currently employed at ISUP at the time of the award presentation are eligible. ISUP staff teams are also eligible in situations where collaborations between multiple staff members occurred.

Any ISUP staff or faculty member in ISUP or a unit / Department with whom ISUP is partnering is eligible to nominate an ISUP staff member/team for an award.
