Olivia Tenn

Olivia Tenn (she/her) is the Administrative and Communications Assistant for the Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre. Olivia is the first point of contact for students and faculty visiting the Academic Skills Centre. Olivia is also responsible for the Centre’s website & social media channels.

Olivia has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Psychology at McMaster University as well as a Bachelor of Music with a focus in Composition and Music Technology at the University of Toronto. She is currently working towards completing a certificate in Art Administration and Cultural Management from Humber College. During her studies, Olivia was the Concert Assistant at McMaster as well as a Residence Don for UofT’s Chestnut Residence. Olivia has worked with several campus partners in UofT’s Quarantine program as well as at University Family Housing.  After taking a course in positive psychology, she developed an interest in human learning and a growth mindset and hopes to apply this knowledge to her work at the Academic Skills Centre. In her free time, Olivia enjoys watching movies, reading, writing, playing, and composing music.
