Leila Farzinpur

Leila holds a PhD in Language and Literacy Education from OISE, University of Toronto. Her interests include Bilingual Students' Writing Practices, Academic Writing Identity Development, and Language Acquisition. In August 2023, she received the June Scott Teaching Excellence Award for Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Additionally, Leila is profoundly engaged in the intricate storytelling and cultural nuances of Persian literature. She has published bilingual storybooks and Persian textbooks to help language learners learn Persian as an additional language.
