I&ITS regularly conducts scheduled maintenance on the UTM network and systems in line with monthly security updates, typically occurring on the Friday following the second Tuesday of each month.
During these maintenance periods, you may experience partial or complete network outages, affecting both wired and wireless access. Some or all services hosted in the UTM data center may be unavailable for a short period or for the entire duration of the maintenance window.
In addition to scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance may be conducted outside of the regular schedule to uphold network and system security and availability. Any emergency maintenance and resulting outages are communicated via the News section.
Instructors are advised to adjust online quiz, test, and assignment due dates to be several hours before or after the scheduled maintenance window to minimize disruptions.
Our aim is to maintain high uptime reliability, which requires essential hardware and system updates. We schedule longer maintenance windows during low-traffic hours to minimize impact on users.
