Sarah Sharma to be Recognized with Desmond Morton Research Excellence Award

We are pleased to announce that ICCIT professor and director Sarah Sharma will receive a 2024 Desmond Morton Research Excellence Award. This annual award recognizes outstanding achievement in research and scholarly activity by faculty members of the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Sharma will be celebrated alongside the other winner, Elspeth Brown from the Department of Historical Studies, during the Desmond Morton Research Excellence Lecture on February 26, 2025. This on-campus event, hosted in the W.G. Davis Building, will give attendees an opportunity to learn more about the recipients' work—as well as spend time with their colleagues at the subsequent reception.
