ICCIT Professor Bree McEwan Appointed as Faculty Affiliate to the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society

The Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society (SRI) recently announced the addition of 10 new faculty affiliates to their research community. Among these scholars—drawn from departments as diverse as historical studies, computer science, and sociology—is ICCIT's own Bree McEwan.

McEwan's research explores the intersection between interpersonal communication and communication technology. In addition to her new role with the SRI, she currently serves as associate director of the Data Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto.

Alongside the other faculty affiliates, McEwen will further the SRI's ongoing mandate to understand the impacts of technology on society through interdisciplinary collaboration.
