Practicum in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGS435Y5)

WGS435Y5 is a practicum that allows advanced WGS students to combine theory and practice through part-time unpaid placement with a community agency, government body, or educational or social change organization. These have included Interim Place Women's Shelter, Peel Poverty Action Group, Ontario Pay Equity Commission, the People Project, Mississauga Disability Office, Studio 89, and the Canadian Centre for International Justice, among others.

Recommended preparation:
WGS200Y5 and 1.0 WGS credits at the 300-level.

Prerequisite: 3rd or 4th-year status and PI.

Students must apply to be admitted to this course. To apply, fill out the application form by April 1, 2024.
