Theatre Erindale, the production company of the Theatre and Drama Studies program, presents a full season of plays in the Erindale Studio Theatre, the MiST, and elsewhere on campus.
Every TDS student works on two of these shows per year. In first and second year, production duties consist of backstage, technical and front-of-house work with increasing levels of responsibility. In third year, students act in two stripped-down, project-oriented performances -- the Classical Project, which uses plays from the classical repertory (sometimes Shakespeare, sometimes not), and the Devised Project, which is written entirely by the cast.
In fourth year, the graduating class works with professional directors in the staging of a season of four plays (two each semester), with every student taking on at least one featured role.
