New for 2024 are a number of exciting summer school opportunities for UTM students.
Please note that courses taken at the schools below will be evaluated for UTM course equivalencies post-experience. Please be aware it is not possible to guarantee your UTM equivalencies prior to your study at these institutions.
UofT is also not involved in the coordination of these programs so any logistical questions should be directed to the schools themselves using the links below.
Girton College, Cambridge
Girton offers a number of exciting 4-week opportunities in Business, Economics and Engineering.
The Business Summer Programme will take place 24 June - 20 July 2024. The programme will focus on Business Strategy, Business Leadership and Responsible Investing and is open to all undergraduate applicants with a background or interest in business. The programme can be accessed here.
The dates for the Economics Summer Programme are 24 June - 20 July 2024. Students can enjoy the lively discussions on real-world implications of Dr. Constantine's theory of Distributional Macroeconomics. The programme can be accessed here.
The Engineering Summer Programme will take place 14 July - 10 August 2024. Modules include Jet Engines, Quantum Technologies and Nanotechnology, the latter including a visit to the professor’s lab and clean room on the University's West Cambridge Site. The programme can be accessed here.

The London School of Economics and Political Science
LSE offers more than 90 courses across seven subject areas, reflecting LSE's wide-ranging strengths across the social sciences. Courses will be delivered in-person at their campus in central London. How to Apply
The application form can be accessed via the Summer School website. Please enter the code TOR24 in the 'Further Information' section of the form in the 'Institution Code' box when applying. This code will:
- Identify you as a UTM student + apply a 10% discount to your tuition fees.
