Leah graduated from the University of the West Indies in 2019 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. After gaining experience in public health care and private education settings, Leah began contemplating economic solutions that could enhance health care delivery without negatively impacting the environment. Her curiosity inspired her to apply to the MScSM program, which uniquely integrates three areas of study: science, management and social responsibility.
Leah values the program’s multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving, recognizing the importance of collaboration and diverse perspectives to overcome complex challenges. With her sights set on a career at the intersection of health care and sustainability, Leah aims to leverage her knowledge and skills to drive positive impact in the Caribbean region. She is committed to developing innovative solutions to reduce health care inequities, advance sustainability initiatives and improve lives.
