UTM Annual Research Prize in the Social Sciences

Professor Menaka Philips from the Department of Political Science was selected for her contributions to the study of a range of issues in historical and contemporary political thought, especially in the politics of interpretation.

We are proud of her accomplishments as well as her ongoing commitment to research excellence at the University of Toronto Mississauga and beyond. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her as well as everyone involved who undertook the time-consuming task of submitting excellent nomination packages, and also those who served on the selection committees for these very important awards.
