Chinese Courses (Elective)

Students interested in learning Chinese as an elective language will typically take the following courses:

• CHI103H5 & CHI104H5
• CHI203H5 & CHI204H5
• CHI303H5 & CHI304H5
• CHI403H5 & CHI404H5

Placement will depend on the results of the Chinese language course assessment questionnaire; students who have near-native proficiency in Chinese should not apply for enrolment in the above courses.

These courses do not count towards the Chinese Language & Culture minor, but may count towards fulfilment of the requirements for the Language Citation.

200-level courses

• CHI211H5 & CHI212H5 

The remaining courses can be selected from the list below.

Please note that CHI211H5 and CHI212H5 are prerequisites for all CHI courses listed below.
