Certificate in ​Computational Linguistics

You can now complete a Certificate in Computational Linguistics (ERCER2021), effective September 2024!

In the foundation courses (LIN340H5 and LIN341H5), students will learn about theoretical and practical aspects of the intersection of Linguistics and the Computing Sciences. The remaining 0.5 FCE elective for the certificate will be selected from eligible LIN and CSC courses.

While enrolment in the Certificate in Computational Linguistics is open to all students at UTM, interested students should note that there are significant prerequisites for the required foundational courses.
