About Us
Welcome to the International Mentorship in Academics and Canadian Culture (IMACC) Program at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). Our program is dedicated to assisting international students in navigating the challenges of university life in a new country. At IMACC, we prioritize the holistic development of our students, helping them build the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to actively engage in both their UTM and Canadian communities.

Ashley Agholor is completing a Bachelors of Medical Radiation Sciences.

Plus, I absolutely love observing the changing seasons on campus! Each month brings new beauty to the Canadian weather and nature."

Dana Adhis is completing a Masters in Earth Sciences and loves nature walks, stargazing, and photography.

Emaan Alam is studying Biology for Health Sciences, and loves exercising, crocheting, learning new languages, and watching TV shows and movies.

Sreya is a Psychology Major, and is also completing Minors in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies and Political Science. Sreya loves travelling, watching movies, and reading, and also enjoys learning and discussing cross-cultural and intersectional research in Psychology, Political Science, and Gender Studies.

"I love how close to nature we are at UTM! Watching the leaves change in the fall, getting warm drinks with friends in winter, and even struggling to get to classes during spring rain are some of my favourite memories."
