Professor Oreopoulos wins the Distinguished Professor award!

Professor Oreopoulos has been awarded the University's Distinguished Professor Award. This award is designed to advance and recognize individuals with highly distinguished accomplishments and those who display exceptional promise. The award will be held for a five-year term from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2025, and incumbents may be re-nominated on one occasion by their faculty one year before the end of their term.

Professor Oreopoulos will hold the title: Distinguished Professor in Economics of Education Policy for the duration of the award's term.
